Step 1
Look at pictures of
different cities. What shops can you identify? What shops are there in your
town? Identify the names and match them with the pictures.
Step 2
Read and listen to a
conversation between two people asking and giving directions. Practice the conversation.
Step 3
Listen to different
dialogues and match the conversations to the maps.
Step 4
Listen to the dialogues
again and complete the written conversation with the missing words or
phrases.
Step 5
Pair work. The teacher will give the students a
map and they will have to ask and give directions according to the map.
Step 6
Final task: students have to make a mock up of a
town and bring their toys to class. With the toys, they will have to create
dialogues asking, giving and following directions.

Very nice and clear! Except...I don't understand the part of the toys...
ResponderEliminarToys to recreate the people moving in the city! They will bring some small dolls to move them through the mock up as they were walking.
ResponderEliminarOk! Now I get it!
